Net Champion Marlar Stewart and Gross Champion Larry Riley

The Village Country Senior Association held the Jack McDowell Golden Tee Championship Tournament two day event which concluded on Friday 6 May, with the Senior dinner where the winners were honored. The Jack McDowell Trust fund provides annually $500.00 for prizes and a $500.00 Hole-in-One is also available. The winner of the event was Marlar Stewart with a Net 127. Our Gross Champion was Larry Riley with a 147 followed by Joe Piskos with a 156, Stuart Twells with 159 and Jim Gibbs with 163. The other Net winners were Hugo Innes and Dick Apple tied at 129, Mac Elliott at 132 followed by Jack Swinney at 133 and Paul Cusick at 134. Our two Champions received trophies pictured here as well as top prize money.
